These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service and apply to everyone on Master of All Trades.
1. Be honest
- Use your real identity or your real business. No fake accounts or impersonation.
- Describe jobs and services accurately. No bait-and-switch pricing or hidden fees.
- No fake, paid or incentivised reviews - see the Review Policy.
2. Be respectful
- No harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech or discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or family status, disability or any other ground protected by human rights law. This includes refusing service or setting different prices on those grounds.
- No sexual content, advances or harassment.
- Keep messages about the job.
3. Keep it legal
You may not use Master of All Trades to request or offer:
- illegal goods or services, or work that requires a licence or permit you don't have;
- adult or sexual services, escort services or massage services that are not therapeutic;
- weapons, drugs (including cannabis), alcohol or tobacco sales or delivery;
- gambling, lotteries, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, loans, debt collection, credit repair or investment advice;
- job postings, recruitment or offers of employment (wages, shifts or staff positions) - Master of All Trades is for getting projects quoted by businesses, not for hiring employees;
- anything that facilitates fraud, money laundering or getting around the law;
- services that violate someone else's intellectual property or privacy (for example, tracking or surveillance of a person without their knowledge).
4. Protect people's safety and privacy
- Don't post other people's personal information without permission, and never post identifiable information or photos of children.
- Don't ask for or share social insurance numbers, banking passwords or full card numbers in messages.
- Never ask customers to pay by gift card, cryptocurrency or wire transfer to a stranger, and don't send "overpayments" to be refunded - these are common scams.
- Report emergencies to 911 first, then tell us.
5. Don't misuse the Platform
- No spam, mass unsolicited messages or advertising unrelated to a job.
- No scraping, crawling or copying the Platform or its data with automated tools.
- No attempts to break or bypass security, rate limits, bans or the verification process.
- No using customer or Pro information for any purpose other than the job it was shared for.
6. Reporting
If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, email support@masterofalltradesjobs.com with the link or details. We review reports and may ask for more information. We don't disclose the reporter's identity to the person reported unless we must by law.
7. What we do
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, warn you, limit features, remove a badge, suspend or close an account, and - where appropriate - report to the police or other authorities. Where it's appropriate and lawful, we'll tell you what we did and why, and give you a chance to respond. To appeal a decision, reply to our message or email support@masterofalltradesjobs.com within 30 days.
